Mission Statement
The BeSmart Coalition is a group of students, parents, and professionals organized to promote safety and wellness for teens and their families in the King Philip community.
Vision
The King Philip Community is a place where:
• There is a network of caring and responsible adults who are working together to promote the safety and wellness of teens and families
• Teens are empowered to make good and healthy decisions,
• Teens who "choose to not use" chemicals are connected and supported
• Students have a voice, are taken seriously, and serve on advisory committees
• Coaches, advisors, and their athletic teams and activity groups take a stand against chemical use and dangerous decisions
• Parents, schools, and the community provide a variety of safe gathering places, fun activities, learning and leadership opportunities
• The community works together to limit access to chemicals, and prosecutes anyone who allows teens to possess alcohol
