Mission Statement

The BeSmart Coalition is a group of students, parents, and professionals organized to promote safety and wellness for teens and their families in the King Philip community.

Vision

The King Philip Community is a place where:

There is a network of caring and responsible adults who are working together to promote the safety and wellness of teens and families

Teens are empowered to make good and healthy decisions,

Teens who "choose to not use" chemicals are connected and supported

Students have a voice, are taken seriously, and serve on advisory committees

Coaches, advisors, and their athletic teams and activity groups take a stand against chemical use and dangerous decisions

Parents, schools, and the community provide a variety of safe gathering places, fun activities, learning and leadership opportunities

The community works together to limit access to chemicals, and prosecutes anyone who allows teens to possess alcohol
